Right back at ya, DS--thanks for posting that again...not sure what happened, but regardless, I haven't had a problem with anything you've posted (not that I am in a position to judge such matters anyhoo, eh?). Hell, K-man and I had many an interesting exchange over WWII, so I don't have a problem with anyone hereabouts these days, frankly.

PS: but, wait a minute--are you saying like my dear friend Flow, that I can't like the Raiders AND the Niners? He's always going on about that--East Bay snobbery by any other name...

Tell, we’re cool and even though we have brief dialogue around these here parts we have walked similar paths in the past and the subject matter above the photograph is simply my response to "The Village Idiot” because, for the most part, this place has almost become civilized when compared to the chaos of years past.

Speaking of the East Bay, here's a video of what the Raiders fans do for fun on Superbowl Sunday, my apologies in advance to Jots ( -:

It's funny about East Bay football.....

I have a huge emotional investment in the A's, Warriors, Sharks and Earthquakes.

The first sports jersey I ever owned, which hung down past my knees, was Fred Biletnikoff (Freddy B.)#25 and I was 11 in 1982 when the Raiders moved to LA. Sure, the 49ers were great at that moment, but I could not hop on the bandwagon. First, I was taught no to be a bandwagon hopper and more importantly, I had tortured the kids in my neighborhood who were 49ers fans mercilessly. So, there I was without a football team which I could wholeheartedly support. Despite this tragedy:) I still loved football. NFL films, the show on HBO with Len Dawson and Nick Bouniconti and Monday Night Football(esp. Cosell's halftime highlights) were very influential. I had a Packers Jersey(Paul Coffman #82), a St. Louis Cardinals Jersey(Pat Tilley #83), SD Chargers #14(Fouts) and Vikings #10(Tarkington).

My favorite all-time football player was Dave Casper.
Baseball: Ricky Henderson
Hoops: Mullin & Larry Smith
Guitar: Jerry Garcia
